Kanji Quiz Game

This game has the following modes:

JLPT mode

You can type the 'reading' of the word in Hiragana. To win the game you need to get the questions right before you run out of lives. If you use the 'JLPT required kanji only' mode, it will be (mostly) words whose Kanji you need to know for that level. The other mode includes every word that's part of that JLPT level (according to an unofficial JLPT vocabulary list), even if the kanji isn't known to be required knowledge.

Quiz mode

Kanji puzzle - You will be given words or phrases that all contain the same kanji. You have to guess the kanji. For example 本当, 日本, 本屋, 本棚, etc. will give you the kanji 本. You chave to type the correct kanji. Arrows show the direction of the word, if the kanji comes before or after the hint.

Rare kanji quiz

Rare Kanji quiz - You have to write common writing of kanji given a rarely-used or outdated form. For example for 音樂會 you can write 音楽会. For 鮹 you can enter 蛸, but because the word is usually written in Kana, both the Kanji and the kana (タコ or たこ) are accepted.
